This month we looked at the Schrepfer family homestead that was located on what is now the Metamora Fields Golf Course. There is also a picture of the farm.
And we found the earliest burials and oldest deceased in both St. Mary’s and Oakwood cemeteries. A big question is – how were folks buried there before they officially became cemeteries? Any ideas…?
